The Hypeocalypse is coming!
The Great Global Warming Swindle is a film by British Television Producer Martin Durkin. This film argues that the recent rise in the earth’s temperature is not caused by elevated levels of co2 in the atmosphere. No Scientist has ever argued the fact that the earth’s temperature is rising, but this film argues that the apocalyptic doom and gloom warnings of the effects of climate change is more of a political propaganda campaign than a scientific fact. In fact, the temperature on all of the planets in our solar system is steadily rising. Because of the efforts of politicians like Al Gore, climate Science has become a very big business. I propose that this campaign has more to do with the peak oil theory and the U.S.’s dependency on this commodity than saving the planet. Republican politicians from Reagan to George W. Bush have tried very hard to expand the U.S. empire by fighting wars in oil rich countries in the middle east. These actions have been obvious to most of us even though they have tried to tell us that they were merely trying to bring Democracy to these nations. The Democrats however have been more concerned with alternatives to oil dependency than fighting wars in the middle east. And so began the Great Global Warming Swindle.
On many occasions, I’ve heard people make comments like “Global Warming my ass, there’s a lot more rain and snow than when I was a child.” Well, science tells us what goes up must come down. If the polar ice caps are melting, that evaporating liquid has to go somewhere. Water doesn’t just disappear, it recycles itself in our atmosphere. But what is actually causing this increase in temperature? Science has told us for years that the earths temperature has been fluctuating due to the effects of the sun and solar variability. The Ice core surveys that Al Gore eludes to in his film, An Inconvenient Truth, show that increased carbon dioxide in our environment is caused by global warming and not the other way around. So what does this all mean? It means that politicians will tell you anything that backs their agenda in order to create a panic in the general public. Politicians can not increase funding to projects unless there is a large percentage of voters behind them. That would be political suicide. So why not tell the people that dependency on oil is going to cause a global catastrophe?
I’m not going to say that reducing our dependance on oil is a bad thing. All I’m saying is, don’t believe the hype. As we’ve seen under the Republican regime, fear is a very powerful tool. Fear of “terrorism” has allowed the leaders of the “land of the free” to completely take away the civil liberties of anyone seen as a “threat” to their way of life, with the creation of the U.S. patriot act. This isn’t the first time they have taken away the civil liberties of people based on nationality or “race.” During World War II, Canada and The United States rounded up Japanese Canadians and Americans and put them in to camps. Without a trial or “due process” simply because of their country of birth. So how does the global warming scam fit into this process? Fear of global catastrophe can convince people to do almost anything in order to save our way of life. Democrats for years have been trying to take away peoples ability to defend themselves by demonizing guns as being a scourge on our society. Why haven’t they made the production of such weapons illegal instead of possession? The answer is simple. Politics is a game of power. Politicians will do and say almost anything in order to increase their power over the public. If politicians really cared about peace they would act accordingly and stop the production of all weapons.
All you have to do, in order to see the real agenda of politicians on both left and right wings, is look at the effects of their policies on developing countries. For example, the right wing war in Iraq has set the country back a hundred years in terms of development. The Demonizing of co2 emissions by the left has made it almost impossible for African nations to have electricity and running water. It is all about increasing empire and power over the globe. You’ve heard politicians on both the right and the left talk about a “New World Order.” Saying that the only way to “save our planet” from threats of terror or environmental destruction is through the creation of a “one world” government that will dictate laws that will benefit the global community. Science and logic tells us that this way of thinking could be more catastrophic than the threat of so-called global warming. Different countries have different climates and the global economy has caused epidemics of disease and infestation by virus’s and insects through the distribution of goods from one climate to the next. If a virus or an insect has no natural predators, in it’s new climate, it will flourish and grow. So, my question is what, on this planet, is our (human’s) natural predator? I think that globalization and world politics through it’s effect on our health and well being is the predator. To put it simply, we are our own worst enemy.
